We opened the doors on Australia Street in 2017 with eight machines and a whiteboard of dreams. Today the Empire runs three arenas, a streaming room and a repair bench — all walking distance from Newtown station. Whether you grind ranked solo or roll in with a five-stack, there is a seat with your name on it.

Eight machines, one router and a queue down the block on launch night. Newtown locals made it home from day one.

First Inner West Valorant Cup
We hosted 64 players across a weekend. The grand final hit 11,000 concurrent viewers on our community stream.

Coaching academy launches
Brought on six top-rank mentors. Within a year, three of our students signed to tier-2 Oceanic rosters.
